Strawberries and Chocolate Recipe

Nothing says romance like strawberries and chocolate! This Valentine’s Day you can indulge in this decadent duo, all while helping your heart by getting your fill of antioxidants. Be sure to choose dark chocolate that is at least 60% cocoa since milk and white chocolate are not good sources of antioxidants.

Makes 4 servings

  • 150 g (5 oz) chopped dark chocolate

  • 160ml (2/3rd cup) milk

  • 2 cups of antioxidant-rich fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwis, apples)

Heat milk in a saucepan until just before it starts to boil. Remove from heat and add in the chopped dark chocolate, stirring until melted. Dip your fruit of choice into the chocolate mix, and reheat gently as needed.
